Extra Credit Film Review
Follow the directions below to complete an extra credit film review of Elizabeth (R) or Elizabeth: The Golden Age (PG-13); both star Cate Blanchett. You will need parental permission to watch the first film.
1. Introduction (1 paragraph)
a. identify the movie title, year, and historical topic(s)
b. write a 1 paragraph plot summary
2. Historical Analysis (2-3 paragraphs):
After reading the pages in the text that cover the subject matter in the film, and/or
a secondary source that covers the same subject, assess the historical accuracy
and value of the film.
3. Conclusion (1 paragraph)
Rate the film and briefly explain if you would recommend this film to a History student who wants to gain a better understanding of the people, event, and/or time period covered in the film?
4. Attach a bibliography of your source(s)
